I know it's too early for that... But are there any chances of a second season being announced after the last episode? Like this manga is very popular, but as an anime I don't see it as that popular, maybe I'm wrong, but on social media and in my social circle of friends with otakus, most of them don't even follow it the anime, so is there a real chance of a second season right after this one ends? For example, Ao no Hako is on Netflix, but almost no one talks about it, I only saw people talking about Dandandan and Orbe and few people about Ranma½ (I'm referring to the animes that were being released together with Ao no Hako). Since it's released on Netflix, I have low expectations for a second season. What do you think about this? |

Yes there are definitely chances!!! many shows getting sequel announced these days popular or not...and in the case of ao no hako I'm liking it and hope for a second season too....but as far as I know the Anime is adapting a decent amount of content from the Manga and if the manga is popular as it is you know then anime is bound to be popular sooner or later so the chance of it getting a second season are high then if there will be decent amount of chaptes available.....as for the case of dandadan, dandadan was a shounen and it became popular because it's different from other shounen like the story, premise, humor was different and if there is something unique people will get attracted to it at first and if it's turn out to be good like dandadan then it became popular and favourite and also ao no hako is definitely a good anime no matter what anybody says the situation is like that some people want to see something more new even if it's romance as far as now the story of anime is good but the events that were happen till now are already seen somewhere in previous anime for some people but I say how this will affect the quality of ao no hako? the animation is good, we got sports with romance with two well written heroines even if it's only for me.... Ahhh I was meant to give you a reply and end up writing a review 😅😂 |

I think Blue Box will get an second season because it is an incredible romance anime with good animations and good characters. So I think that Netflix and the animation Studio will continue they're work on this anime. |

It's flopping hard in the West but it's very popular in Japan, so it's almost certain |

The male MC likes a girl, but then decides not to tell her anything about his feelings until he accomplishes a sports goal, which means that he can’t tell her if he does not accomplish that goal, and this potentially puts years in the way, plus she is moving after her school years are up. Both girls at first expressed jealousy and started to become a rivalry for the male MC. But then both girls made wild assumptions about each other and their relationship with the male MC, and at the same time, decided to back off to let the other have a chance, completely confusing the Male MC. The female dance MC finally rethought this and decided to not hold back anymore , which is good, she is not letting her “rival” get in her way any more, but she also knows that the male MC has a crush on the Basketball MC, and only sees her as a friend, so it is an uphill climb for her. Then the female Basketball MC decides, after something very small happens between her and the male MC, that she is not going to do anything at all with him and she will resist anything further with him, basically putting him in the “friend zone” or worse the “brother zone”. Honestly, I had hopes for this anime, but I was sadly disappointed. The only redeeming quality was the sports scenes, but then they tried to ruin that with forced “drama”, which was very frustrating. |

@ejleon The truth is that this anime is quite overrated by fans. Ao no hako fails in romance and also in presenting sports. The only redeeming quality is the characters, they manage to be charismatic, and the good art/animation is just that |

Def not uzumaki 😂
@Jamil10 Oddly enough, Uzumaki does have good success. It's low budget and the quality is quite mediocre, but it was a big hit in the West, at least in the country I live in, I saw a lot of people commenting and recommending Uzumaki. I think Uzumaki is crap, even the manga, but it's undeniable how successful the anime's debut was in the otaku media. |

Japan doesn’t really care about reception from overseas fans, we’re just an extra bit of side income that they’ll accept. We don’t determine if a series gets another season or not. If we did, we’d have Vinland Saga season 3 announced by now. The manga is one of the best sellers in Weekly Shonen Jump, the series is popular there, so it’ll definitely be getting more seasons. Wether a sequel is announced directly after this season ends or not is the only question. |

In my opinion Blue Box WILL get a s2, its a good show, the plot is good and the manga its still going, theres enough resources for a s2, if the mamga goes on for more 100 chapters then its guaranteed, i truly want to watch chii and taiki grow together. |

It depends on what chapter of the manga episode 25 finishes on. This show does definitely have a better than average chance but it’s always a coin toss. |

since they did 2 cours at the level. It will definitely have an s2. Also, it's from jump, and they have lost a couple of IPs finishing up, so it will most likely get a continuation. To add to that, the manga is very popular. So, it will have the fan base to support it. |

The sports theme is an unique element in romance animes. I think Taiki is an character who can't decide what's more important, the love for Chinatsu or the accomplishments in badminton. But there are some scenes that are romantic. Especially the scene where they're give each other an bracelet to wish each other success. But I also like Hina. She is a little bit teasing and cheeky but she likes Taiki very much. What I also like is, that this anime is a little bit realistic. In this phase of life you're unsure in the themes love. So I think that an second season is a good way to continue the story and especially the relationship between Taiki, Chinatsu and Hina and maybe there will be an plot twist in an potential second season. |

The odds of blue box getting a second season are extremely high! If you the Oricon charts or Netflix 10 charts the series has actually shown strong performance on both! So honestly I think we pretty much got season 2 in the bag! |

What I’ve seen on social media’s, Ao no Hako blew off the bubble, as we say here I live. Even non anime watchers are watching Blue Box. It’s always in the top watches on Netflix. So, the chances are very high. Netflix made a second season for Urusei Yatsura and My happy marriage, those, who didn’t got the hype Ao no Hako got |

I'm a little behind in the show, but I'm hoping for a second season. I love the manga and think the anime is a great adaptation. I don't know if this is normal, but it's just that it feels like it's moving a bit slow? For a manga that's approaching 200 chapters, it's averaging like 3 chapters and episode so season 1 won't even cover half the manga. This will be a spoiler for later in a manga and just the story in general The confession doesn't even happen until like chapter 100 or a little after. So if the show continues at this pace they won't even be a couple in it. |
