| Definitely the most emotional episode in this series by far, I have a bad feeling about when Subaru will return. A very beautiful episode, just beautiful. |
| omfg... I was so glad they didn't reset in the last three episodes because that would have meant he cannot reset anymore due to the limited episode count. I swear if he goes back to the apple vendor I fucking drop it then and there... If he is not going back like just a few hours I'm so done with it. Why would you even plan it out like that. That Ram cliffhanger was SO ANTI CLIMATIC! I thought it would be something fucked up, but, it was resolved in 5 seconds XD A blank letter huh? Why? o-o EMILIA AAAAAAAND PUCK! OW YEEEEEEEES! I love that scene, it was so niiice! And I hope Subaru remember Felis words to him: trust Emilia more Subaru, c'mon! (So I guess Emilia went to warn the villagers because she found the blank letter Subaru sent weird by itself? Like "he would never do something like this, maybe something dangerous is going to happen") SOMEBODY PLEASE CALL AN EXORCIST FOR SUBARUUUU! I really liked their development a lot as well, which makes it only more frustrating for Subaru to die again.. I can only hope the development after a reset will be as relevant. Also because Julius is actually quite cool, and I was hating him at first lol. |

| That ending actually I thought was pretty bad under the assumption he actually dies. Rather than having to see him struggle with Sloth creeping around in his mind and actually fight it while watching the emotional bonds come into play with his friends when they see him struggling to keep his sanity. Like previous times he has "restarted" were a lot of times related to people dying around him that he couldn't save because of his powerlessness. That pulled at the heart strings cause you could feel the emotion coming from Subaru. This time its like whelp everyone is fine but Subaru rather than trying to fight Sloth off mentally is just hey kill me so I can just restart and be healthy. I would've felt more emotionally involved in this episode had like they had to restrain Subaru and we watch him next episode fight internally as he slips into depravity. Then we really can see the emotional bonds between him and his friends and Emilia |

| That ending! He definitely won't be killed because there's no way they'll be doing the whole kill the Whale thing again. At the same time I don't see anything nearby capable of stopping that sword. Not to mention that the only way Subaru would expel him from his body is if he admits he respawns and the whitch's energy kills the other guy but it's still kind of a stretch. tl;dr - can't wait to see the next episode |

| I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT! I KNEW MAH BOY BETELGEUSE WOULDN'T BE DEFEATED THAT EASILY! IT WAS BEAUTIFUL, IT WAS VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY BRAIN TREMBLEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!!!! On a more serious note, I liked the episode a lot. The interactions between Subaru and Julius were very enjoyable and Julius is confirmed to be a total bro. I declare myself his fan. The fingers were really awesome, even when they cannot compare with the original Betelgeuse. The Unseen Hands were also very strong. Emilia was very cool too defeating that finger like a boss. People can say she has few screentime, but nobody can negate she is very badass. The ending left me conflicted. In one hand, Subarugeuse was hillariously awesome, just like the original Betelgeuse. On the other hand, Julius and Felix reactions were very sad, and the fact that after all the effort he used to achieved the victory against the Witch Cult (plus developing his relationship with Julius and just when he was about to meet Emilia again, this time like an hero), Subaru died, made me very sad. I'm not joking, but after the scene when Wilhelm said he loved his wife in the ending of the battle against the whale, this may be the second scene of the show who nearly makes me shed tears. I wonder when the loop will transport Subaru this time. Probably after the battle with the whale. I wonder how will Betelgeuse be defeated this time, as he has shown to be an enemy very difficult to kill. Great episode. You are not alone. The scene was sad, but Subarugeuse was fucking hillarious. | Poor Subaru. Out of the 2 possible scenario, that subaru either manages to expel beetlejuice out of his body, or goes back in time, the second is more likely. Since Subaru wanted to save the villagers, in which he failed. Though this could be used to raise Emilias popularity somewhat. I'd still vote for the second scenario. Damn, only 2 more episodes :| |
