Tinyman there's this girl in my class who always comes in late with her choir friend (choir is on the other side of the campus) then when she dose play it sound like crap and she never practices and she always "forgets" her clarinet reed so she can't play but she's done it so much she's had 7 detentions then when she get pointed out on faking she just says oh my reed is being strange but we all know she just sucks. Also she has like a 20$ cheap ass mainly plastic clarinet and playes with flavored reeds. It sucks that I as a flute has to stand and sit next to her

I am play alto sax and I have a friend who is a boy and he plays tenor sax and he's been playing for like a couple years and I just started this year and he's always correcting me and it's so annoying
I understand how it can be annoying to constantly be corrected, but we in the corrector/perfectionist community get *super* annoyed when people play wrong.

I’m the ”This one time at band camp” stereotype. 😂 Seriously though, band camp makes for some very good stories. Example? I have very sensitive skin and I’d always end up sweating sunscreen into my eyes, so I couldn’t use it because of the way my body reacted. My mum wasn’t going to let me go the last day of band camp because of how swollen my face was from all that UV exposure. Eventually, after some bargaining she let me. I’m lucky my face wasn’t permanently scared, because I did have some sunburn that left some scars for a while. I peeled so bad. Just layers and layers of skin. Oh, another time, me being a dumb freshman only a couple of days into band camp thought I’d be fine when I didn’t have a water for that day. ....My director had to run and catch me and drag me off the field while we were marching, because I started to pass out from heat exhaustion in the middle of it. It’s more common than you’d probably think for marching kids to just.... go down. Oh, also, the sing your part stereotype is our whole damn bus to competition. It is a required tradition that we count off and sing our parts once we’re close to the school.

It pains me to have to turn in sheet music when it's the original copy. Plays All The Time Guy... I regularly have at least a harmonica in pocket, I love playing at random times just to drive people nuts.
