It's always interesting to see who are the ones that take on the more "parental" role in a group depending on how/who they're grouped together and it's not always by age. Like when Jeno isn't with the Dreamies, he's a total baby but when he is, he takes on more of a leader role. When Ten lived with the Dreamies, he didn't act like the parent but now he treats YangYang like his child. Taeil and Winwin, no matter who they're grouped with, they're always the baby.

I just find it amusing cause Jaemin claimed his role as a parent since they were trainees. He’s been taking care of Jisung since they were really small. Dreamies 00's line are hyungs (moms-dads) in Dream, but after NCT 2020 i found out that they are babies indeed. I'm even babying Yangyang who is around their age. The parent-like hyungs are really supportive hyungs. Imagine lost your childhood days to becoming idols. It was a difficult thing that ever happened. I am happy that korean members have Taeyong and Doyoung with them, chinese members have Kun with them, Mark has Johnny with him, and Ten has all members with him (also Ten was becoming the best hyungs to dongsaeng members), and Shotaro has Yuta with him. I am really happy that the members have each other to stay strong, of course before they have us. They really knew each other before we knew them. (I said that for all the fans who took their (members) inside jokes as the big bad things).
Kim Doyoung is the ultimate mom/dad in nct. He is even a parent to older members and the leader (self-claimed and not been denied by taeyong). He takes care of everyone.
I love all of the NCT members but Johnny especially, seeing him is so healing because the way he interacts with the members is so genuine. He seems like a genuinely comforting person to be around. Plus he's beautiful.

Jaehyun vibes way more like laid back older brother than a parental figure. I guess due in part to him being the baby of the oldest trainees (95 and 96 line) for a long while
finally the whole parent line in one video! also nomin have such a strong parents dynamic with their “kids” and also with each other. we have so many moments of them acting like the parents at the same time (for example when jaemin was making photos of the family while jeno was doing the dishes or in the same video when jeno was building that basketball hoop while jaemin was cooking etc.) there aren’t moments like these with any other two members of the parent line, bc they act more like single parents, meanwhile jaemin and jeno are literally married and take care of the dreamies together

Here's a little wattpad story for NCT.
*Taeyong* and *Doyoung* got married and adopted *Yuta* from Osaka and *Jungwoo* from Gimpo.
After a while, Taeyong realised that he actually loved *Jaehyun* , so he divorced poor Doyoung to be with him. Together, they adopted *WinWin* from Wenzhou, *Renjun* from Jilin, *Sungchan* from Seoul, and *Shotaro* from Kanagawa.
Meanwhile Doyoung fell in love with *Johnny* , got married, and together, they adopted *Taeil* from Jangan-dong and *Haechan* from Jeju island. He decided to remain friends with Taeyong and Jaehyun and ocassionally meet up with the kids they had together.
After a while, Doyoung started to feel as if it wasn't working out, so he ran away with the kids. They later got divorced.
Johnny was left alone and devastated and thus he found a rebound in *Ten* , who was Taeyong's brother. Together, they adopted *Mark* from Toronto. They stayed together for a while and Johnny even made up with Doyoung, but how long would this rebound last? Not long.
Johnny and Ten grew apart and went their own ways amicably. Johnny continued raising the children on his own while Ten took a break in Fujian, China.
There, he fell in love with *Kun* . They got married and together, they adopted *Xiaojun* from Dongguan, *Hendery* from Macau, *Lucas* from Sha Tin and, when they moved to Germany, *Yangyang* from Dusseldorf.
Meanwhile, Doyoung had given up on finding love and decided to adopt a kid and have a happy family. He adopted *Jeno* from Incheon. He raised him well and got him married to *Jaemin* from Jeonju.
Together, Jeno and Jaemin adopted *Jisung* from Seoul and *Chenle* from Shanghai.
And that my friends is how the NCT family was created.

Dreamies 00's line are hyungs (moms-dads) in Dream, but after NCT 2020 i found out that they are babies indeed. I'm even babying Yangyang who is around their age.
The parent-like hyungs are really supportive hyungs. Imagine lost your childhood days to becoming idols. It was a difficult thing that ever happened. I am happy that korean members have Taeyong and Doyoung with them, chinese members have Kun with them, Mark has Johnny with him, and Ten has all members with him (also Ten was becoming the best hyungs to dongsaeng members), and Shotaro has Yuta with him.
I am really happy that the members have each other to stay strong, of course before they have us. They really knew each other before we knew them. (I said that for all the fans who took their (members) inside jokes as the big bad things).

also nomin have such a strong parents dynamic with their “kids” and also with each other.
we have so many moments of them acting like the parents at the same time (for example when jaemin was making photos of the family while jeno was doing the dishes or in the same video when jeno was building that basketball hoop while jaemin was cooking etc.)
there aren’t moments like these with any other two members of the parent line, bc they act more like single parents, meanwhile jaemin and jeno are literally married and take care of the dreamies together
