@iamnameers I'll watch later, but dude MAY have been a decent father before Rabitz, then was basically gone outside of almost a year where he was 1 on 1 with Gohan, then was off training for rest of Gohan's life and all of Goten's life until Buu Saga [finished], then off on mission in demon world now, then whenever came back, eventually will return, then will continue to go off training and tournements, then whatever else happens in SUPER, then eventually will leave everyone AGAIN to be with Uub.

An by go off training, I don't mean like his "job" was training, I mean like 24/7 away from family for extreme amounts of time. Maybe prior to Rabitz he was fine, but almost never again after outside of brief moments.

"fan memes into the canon" no, it's literally canon that Goku is a disaster of a father and generally a bad example. What Goku said here is 100% fact. I'll watch those later, but him being an absent father isn't a "theory" or "myth", it's fact.
